Jason Sturgeon: Time Bomb Single Launch

Project Details

  • Up and coming country artist Jason Sturgeon was launching his new single Time Bomb
  • We wanted to find a way to generate as much buzz as possible at the event since the horse world are primarily hardcore country fans
  • we assembled a street team to spread flyers about the performances and also the prize pack
  • We also built online landing pages to facilitate signups from email blasts and for signups from our social media

Strategic Partnerships

  • we created strategic alliances with the American Quarter Horse association to play the event and for them to allow us to create a street team at their event
  • we also created a strategic alliance with Boot Barn who provided items to give away

Goals

  • generate buzz throughout and during the Congress
  • reach country consumers and make multiple impressions
  • collect as much fan data as possible including email addresses and zip codes so we could reach out to them again in the future

 Results

  • We generated over 2500 new email addresses of core country fans
  • made numerous impressions at the event with event-goers
  • made great relationships with our partners
  • American Quarter Horse Association allowed us to send an email promoting Jason performances and our contest to their mailing list of over 1,000,000
