Toolpusher Recording artist Jason Sturgeon had a busy CMA Music Festival and covered a lot of ground during the three days he was in Nashville, TN before hitting the road again for a show in Illinois.
Toolpusher Recording artist Jason Sturgeon had a busy CMA Music Festival and covered a lot of ground during the three days he was in Nashville, TN before hitting the road again for a show in Illinois.
Sturgeon started his week at a golf tournament benefiting Hear The Music Live, an organization that works with foster care programs and orphanages to send teens and pre-teens to concerts in their area. He participated in CMA Music Festival’s Power Zone activities as well, showing well in the Tool Challenge and the Traxxas Celebrity Race Challenge, a remote controlled race car challenge.
Sturgeon’s vintage red Chevy pick-up truck, which was featured in the mud bog in his “Simple Life” music video, was also a very popular featured exhibit in the Power Zone in the Skyjacker Booth where he made a special appearance to talk about the truck and those awesome Skyjacker suspensions.
If playing golf, pushing tools, racing cars and talking trucks weren’t enough, Jason was one of the spotlight performers in the line-up for Renegade Country’s showdown at the Whiskey Bent Saloon on Thursday. He performed and also did an on camera interview with the new syndicated radio and online program.
Before heading out for his next road gig, Sturgeon stopped by the Farmers Feeding The World booth and exhibit in the CMA Music Festival exhibit hall and signed autographs and talked with fans. He also took advantage of the opportunity to check on the exhibit that the organization is showing across the United States. Jason is from farm country in Indiana and knows first hand how important agriculture is to our nation.
