Indiana native Jason Sturgeon will premiere music from his latest Toolpusher Records CD, “Cornfields And Coal,” at a special writers round this Thursday (10/17).
Sturgeon is enjoying success with his latest single, “Angel Eyes,” a remake of the Jeff Healey Band’s pop hit during the 80’s. The video clip has proven to be a fan favorite at CMT.
Joining Sturgeon for the special evening of music are Matt StillwellOlivia Lane, and Ben Bradford. Stillwell, an Average Joes artist, recently inked with Kevin Harvick for sponsorship representation and has had success with hits like “Shine,” and “Ignition.” Lane, a Houston native, is a graduate of USC and recently moved to Nashville. She spent time interning at several publishing companies before moving to Music City, and has been writing with Bradford and other up-and-coming writers since relocating to Nashville. Bradford hails from Southaven, MS and eventually left medical school to pursue his love of writing and performing. A Texaco Country Showdown regional finalist, he has opened for Colt Ford, Chris Young, Florida Georgia Line, and others. He recently signed with 16 Minutes Entertainment for representation.
The showcase will be streamed live on www.musiccityondemand.com/live-stream and is viewable from anywhere in the world on any device. This live streaming is a demonstration for the new HP streaming partnership “BAWK Productions” between the Listening Room and WE Stream HD and includes an additional writer’s round featuring singer/songwriters Kyndon Oakes, Jackie Lee, Alicia Michilli and Mark Vickingstad.
